Here’s How It Works

Understanding the Method

What: A process that helps you navigate your thoughts and transform negative emotions into positive experiences.

How: First you learn the steps and the intentions behind the method, then you put it into practice, then the process becomes second nature.

Why: This method is a strong, effective tool for self-healing and personal shifts. It’s a way to navigate and transform negative emotion resulting in deeper connection.

The Breakdown

Stir: Recognize when the ego deviates into a negative thought pattern and build self awareness around it. Be in touch with yourself. Identify what you’re feeling and assign words to it (angry, irritated, anxious, shameful, annoyed, impatient, sensitive, defensive, etc.).

Sit: Sit with what you’re feeling and notice what’s coming up for you. Create space to just be. Give yourself time. Do nothing. Become comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. There is magic in the sit.

Sift: Sift through what’s really going on in your mind and body. What thoughts are you having around what happened to make you stir? Bring the productive thoughts forward. Let go of the negative energy. This when you take full ownership of the distortions you brought to the stir story.

Share: Share your stirs and shifts through honest storytelling. What was revealed in the sift? Your vulnerability has the capacity to open minds.

Shift: Establishing an authentic connection and sharing your truth opens up the portal for shifts. Take inventory of what you learned in this process. Memorialize the steps you took to get here. Celebrate what you did and acknowledge the work that went into it.

“Say thank you to your Stirs, they are the roadmap to your freedom.”
